Detailed introduction of brake shoes

The brake shoes and brake discs achieve the braking function of the vehicle, and they work together to slow down and ultimately stop. The brake disc rotates with the wheels, while the brake shoes are connected to the axle through the brake backing plate and do not generate movement. When braking, the brake shoes compress the brake disc through the brake control mechanism, using friction to slow down the wheels until they stop. Vehicles of different sizes use brake shoes made of different materials. The cross-sectional shape and size of the brake pads should ensure their good rigidity. The brake pads can be fixed by riveting or bonding to the brake shoes. The selection of brake shoes is related to the vehicle type and requirements, and varies among different vehicle models.
In addition, the iron pads on the back of the brake pads, namely soundproofing pads or sound-absorbing and shock-absorbing pads, are equipped with two pads on each brake pad. The function of these gaskets is to eliminate abnormal noise during braking and prevent resonance noise between the car and the brake pads. If these soundproofing pads are not installed, it may cause abnormal noise in the brakes.
